Seller Agreement
Article 1 - General
All products sold on Treezee must be in accordance with our terms of use and our seller agreement. In order to be a seller on Treezee Marketplace, you must first apply, review and agree to our seller agreement & terms of use, and get approved. If not all of these steps are completed, your company will not be allowed to sell any products on Treezee. Treezee holds the right at any time to remove your business from Treezee completely, freeze your account, remove any of your products, place any of your products on hold any products, and refund, or hold, any order for any reason at any time. Treezee is designed to be 100% legal, 100% safe, and 100% transparent. If we believe our standards are not being upheld, or if we believe any rules are being broken, Treezee reserves the right to investigate and make the decision that Treezee deems best for the overall marketplace. Please read over this Seller Agreement and the Terms of Use page carefully before accepting, as you and your business are responsible for knowing and understanding every rule, regulation, and certification that needs to be followed in order to sell on Treezee. Treezee is not designed to disable anyone from selling their products, we wish to support and add to the profit of your company. All sellers are agreeing that they are fully compliant in their certifications and licenses to sell any products they post on Treezee, and all certifications for any products they post are from within the last 12 months. If a seller gets too many low ratings or complaints, they are liable to be removed from Treezee. By agreeing to this seller agreement, you are agreeing that yourself, and everyone who will use Treezee as a seller at your company, will follow all terms in this seller agreement and all terms in Treezee’s terms of use which can be found at the bottom of our website.
Article 2 - Smoke Shop
- Any certification or registration that you provide Treezee must be 100% legal, up to date, and accurate.
Article 3 - CBD
- By agreeing to this contract, you agree that if you post a CBD product, your business must upload the CBD certification, and your business is legally allowed to sell CBD products. Any certification or registration that you provide Treezee must be 100% legal, up to date, and accurate.
- All COAs that you provide Treezee must be 100% accurate, up to date, and legal.
- All CBD products must be below 0.3% THC. Making the CBD product cannabis-free. The words “marijuana” “weed” and “cannabis” must be excluded from defining any products in the Name of the product and there must be no mention of those words in the Description of any products. Also, the seller must make sure all edible products are legally safe, tested, and completely edible. All restrictions apply to hemp products as well.
- If Treezee finds or believes you are not abiding by Treezee’s seller agreement, we reserve the right to remove any products we deem violations of this agreement, and we reserve the right to freeze your selling account or remove it entirely.
- Before a product can be posted on treezee.com, Treezee’s administrative team will review the lab tests. Your product will only be approved to go on treezee.com if the lab tests have been approved by a certified testing company within 18 months and show your products have under 0.3% THC.
Article 4 - Delta Products (under 0.3% THC) & Other products
- The seller must make sure all edible products are legally safe, tested, and completely edible (If the consumer is meant to consume the product). The words “marijuana” “weed” and “cannabis” must be excluded from defining any products in the Name of the product and there must be no mention of those words in the Description of any products. All products must be below 0.3% THC.
- All COAs that you provide Treezee must be 100% accurate, up to date, and legal.
- Any certification or registration that you provide Treezee must be 100% legal, up to date, and accurate.
- Before a product can be posted on treezee.com, Treezee’s administrative team will review the lab tests. Your product will only be approved to go on treezee.com if the lab tests have been approved by a certified testing company within 18 months and show your products have under 0.3% THC.
Article 5 - Allowed Products List
- If your product category is not listed in the Create Product > Categories section of Treezee’s Seller Account, it can not be sold on Treezee. If your product’s category is not listed and you believe it should be, please email [email protected].
Article 6 - Transactions & Payouts
The current default transaction fee is 18% of the gross sale. By continuing to use Treezee after any changes have been made to this agreement, including an updated transaction rate, or an updated payment processing fee, you are agreeing to the updated terms of the updated seller agreement. The total fees taken out of each sale will be Treezee’s 18% transaction fee + the Payment Processors’ fee. Sellers’ payouts will occur on a weekly basis with their balance from the previous 7 days period. The payout will be processed on every Tuesday with the seller's payout income from the previous week (Last Monday-Sunday). Payment will take 3-5 business days to reach the sellers’ bank account, on average depositing every Friday morning. If an order from the current payout period has not been shipped yet, that payment will be pushed to the following week. If an order does not get shipped out, see Article 7 to see what will happen. There is no penalty for not having any sales for the time period, the seller just won’t receive a payout payment for that given week. Sellers are not responsible for the ACH payout payment fee. By agreeing to this Seller Agreement, you are agreeing & accepting that Treezee reserves the right to increase or decrease any fees at any time for any reason, and you are accepting this payout structure.
Article 7 - Things to Note
- Sellers have 2 days to ship an order. Once the order is shipped, the seller must complete the order in their Treezee Seller Account. If the seller has not shipped their order(s) after 2 days, they will be contacted by Treezee’s administrative team. If the order(s) is/are not shipped by the end of the 3rd day, the seller’s products will be declined. If the order(s) is/are not shipped by 7pm eastern time (EST) the next day, any order that is pending in the seller’s Active Order(s) will be refunded, and the seller will be deactivated. This is viewed as one strike. Each seller will only be given two strikes. If a seller proves to Treezee’s administrative team that they can ship every order within 2 days, they will have their account reactivated. If an issue like this comes up again, their account will be deleted, as it will be their second strike. Treezee has the right to hold, deactivate, decline, delete, activate, or reactivate any product or seller for any reason at any time. Treezee has the right to hold, cancel, refund, or delete any order at any time for any reason.
- *Do not send your own “Order Shipped” email, as the consumer will be getting one from Treezee. This will keep the consumer from filing a chargeback for thinking they placed two orders. It is mandatory to abide by this. Make sure no emails are being sent to Treezee consumers.
- Here is a way to confirm no emails are being sent to a Treezee consumer through your ShipStation account:

- Click My Profile > Selling Channels > Store Setup
- Treezee orders will be coming from a store called: 1. Manual Orders or 2. Treezee
- Click on the 3 dots to the right of Manual Orders (Or Treezee)
- Click Edit Store Details > Click Emails
- Last Step: Make sure the Shipment Confirmation Email & Delivery Notification Email are both set to: “don’t send email”
- Treezee reserves the right to place an order for your product in order to test how you are fulfilling orders at any time.
- If shipping delays or shipping options typically take over a week, Treezee will reach out to you to speed this up, if you do not comply, Treezee reserves the right to remove you from our marketplace.
- Always include the correct tracking number, and it is mandatory to upload multiple tracking numbers when there are multiple shipments in the same order.
- Expiring products: The seller may not ship out any product that will expire within 45 days of the shipment date.
- All discounts and coupons are taken out of the gross sale. Treezee holds the right to allow a discount of any amount to be used on any product.
- A consumer adding quantity to a product will not add to the shipping cost. The seller must fulfill the order of any quantity of a product using the shipping method the consumer chooses, even if it means shipping multiple boxes. This also applies to any order that has more than one different product of yours.
- You agree to follow all U.S. laws.
- Treezee is not responsible for any excise tax. To be very clear, by signing up to sell on Treezee, you, the seller, are acknowledging and agreeing that you are responsible for all excise tax for any product you sell on treezee.com.
- This is Treezee’s notice that we are a marketplace facilitator that is in charge of collecting and remitting Sales & Use tax on behalf of our vendors. The seller does not need to collect and remit Sales & Use tax for products they sell on treezee.com.
- Your business can buy promotions on Treezee.com. Once the payment has been processed and confirmed, our promotion process will begin. Treezee has the right to cancel or hold any of your promoted products at any time for any reason. The seller will not be refunded for this promotion, as the seller is liable for implementing correct information in the Promotion form. There will be no refunds or cancellations on promotion purchases. All Orders are final when the order is completed.
- Sellers are responsible for making sure all COAs are up to date and not expiring. A COA is considered expired when the test date becomes older than 12 months. The seller must replace the product’s COA with the up to date/non-expired COA.
- Sellers are required to ship products in discrete, blank packaging.
- Sellers are prohibited from sending consumers off Treezee.com. You can not tell any Treezee consumer to access any non-treezee.com website for any reason, you can not tell them to buy a product somewhere else, and you can not talk negatively about Treezee to a consumer. We are mainly talking about your Messages with consumers on Treezee, but this also applies to all communication. You can never use Treezee’s message system, a phone call, an email, or any communication with any consumer that you acquire from Treezee to compete with Treezee.
- If a seller has order for products they are refusing to update COAs for, Treezee holds the right to hold the funds for those orders, and also take the products off the website. If the COAs are updated Treezee will release the funds, if the COAs are not updated, they funds won't be released and the seller's products will stay declined.
- If any funds are lost because you entered an incorrect, or old, Venue ID in your Shop Settings that is your responsibility and those funds may never be recovered, make sure your Venue ID is always matching and up to date.
- If a return request that gets approved is not shipped out within 7 days, Treezee will issue the consumer a refund for the full order. More information on this can be found in our Replacement Policy.
- Any refund of your order will be taken from your merchant account with Treezee. The seller is responsible for 100% of any refund. This means the seller is responsible for the 22-23% in fees that was taken out by the payment processor and Treezee. The seller is responsible for any chargeback fees. This applies whether Treezee, the payment processor, or the seller issues the refund.
- Recurring subscription charges will be equal to, or potentially cheaper than, the lowest price that the product has cost. Treezee has the right to change the subscription cost. Subscriptions will be automatically calculated based off of the most recent, lowest price of the product. You can change your recurring subscription charge of any product at any time by notifying [email protected]
- By accepting Treezee’s Seller Agreement, you accept that Treezee reserves the right to use images of a product that you created on treezee.com in any marketing that promotes Treezee. This includes current and past sellers, and current and past products.
- Treezee is not involved in any warranties or services provided with any of these products. The sellers are 100% liable for warranties & services provided with any of their products. If a warranty or service is promised or offered to the consumer at the point of purchase, the seller is responsible for following up their end of the offer.
- Treezee reserves the right to lower any product’s price, recurring purchase price, or shipping cost via a consumer discount, or via a manual solution intended to lower expensive costs that Treezee deems necessary.
- Treezee reserves the right to access your seller account and modify, or fix, anything Treezee deems necessary for improving treezee.com.
- Sellers are 100% liable for legally shipping any of their tobacco, nicotine, CBD, kratom, delta, vaporizer, or any other products.
- You can’t say any products are designed for Cannabis, weed, or marijuana in the product name or description. As all products are designed for Tobacco use only.
- Treezee has the right to hold any of your products, or your payouts, for any reason, especially if orders are not being fulfilled within 3 days at the latest.
- Treezee has the right to edit your products, including adding the subscriptions option to your product. This can not be used as an excuse for you not fulfilling a subscription order or a regular order.
Article 8 - Closing Information
- The seller is agreeing to keep all consumer information 100% private and secret. Any leak of consumer information by the seller in any way, whether accidental or purposeful, will result in whatever consequence(s) Treezee deems necessary and could result in lawful consequences.
- Questions about the terms of use and seller agreement should be sent to [email protected] before you agree to this seller agreement.
- If Treezee requests Certifications, registrations, or information from a seller, you must provide it within 2 business days.
- Your company is agreeing to be liable, and held accountable, for any product(s) that your company sells on Treezee.
- By agreeing to Treezee’s seller agreement, your business agrees to follow all rules and regulations listed in Treezee’s seller agreement and terms of use. An up-to-date terms of use (including our Replacement Policy, Privacy Policy, and Shipping Policy) can be found on treezee.com. An up-to-date seller agreement can be accessed at https://www.treezee.com/seller-agreement or in the Treezee You are responsible for reading and understanding any new information that is sent to your business, and you are responsible for understanding all information, both new and old, that is in Treezee’s Treezee Details page in Treezee’s Seller Account.
- By clicking the box that you agree to Treezee’s seller agreement, you are agreeing to Treezee’s seller agreement and terms of use. You are agreeing that if Treezee updates our seller agreement, transaction fee, or terms of use, by continuing to use treezee.com, you are agreeing to the up-to-date seller agreement, transaction fee, and terms of use.
